Coffee Tasting Parties are unique to A&E Roastery. We begin with the history of coffee, its origins, and how it has become the 2nd most traded commodity in the world next to oil. Next, up to four samples of freshly roasted and brewed coffee are served to each guest. As the coffees are tasted, the guests are led through each of the four sensory perceptions: Aroma, Brightness, Body, and Finish. We discuss how coffee origin, processing and roast style impact the flavor in the cup. The Coffee Tasting Parties range between one and two hours in length, depending on the host's schedule. To thank the host or organizer, they will receive a gift certificate for a free bag of freshly roasted coffee for every guest who signs up for the Custom Coffee home delivery service at the Tasting Party!
